On 22nd April, the mathematics examination review seminar for the 2019 Senior High School Entrance Exam collaborated by four schools was held in the east campus of Anqing Foreign Language School. Under the leadership of Principal Xu Xuchang and Director Wang Shengxiang, all the mathematics teachers of Anqing Foreign Language School joined hands with teachers from Tongcheng Sanxing School, Yuexi Paradise Junior High School and Yuexi Calamus Central School to participate in this seminar which aimed to promote the exchange of teaching and research among friendly schools, further improve the pertinence and effectiveness of maths classroom teaching in Grade 9  and elevate the teaching and research level of teachers.
The seminar lasted one day and was divided into three stages: 'classroom presentation', 'comment and exchange' and 'famous teachers' lectures'. During the class presentation, teachers Wang Yueling, Liu Fen, Nie Liqun and Zhou Qian from Yuexi Paradise Junior High School and Anqing Foreign Language School's lesson preparation groups of math and English in Grade 9 each set up a special review lesson, at the end of which teacher representatives spoke positively, fully affirmed the advantages of the four teachers in their review classes and put forward pertinent opinions and valuable suggestions for the improvement of teaching.
Subsequently, in combination with the feedback of the first-round review, leaders of the subject preparation groups of four schools proceeded special lectures and exchanges on the second-round review plan in the later stage and made forward-looking predictions on the key points of this year's Senior High School Entrance Examination. The wonderful lectures benefited the participating teachers a lot.
Finally, Principal Xu Xuchang of Anqing Foreign Language School made a summary of the one-day seminar. He first thanked the participating teachers for their sharing and communication and put forward higher requirements for the future teaching and research work of mathematics and English as well.
